- Open Cluster Administrator.
- Create a File Share resource.

- In the console tree, double-click Groups, and then click the group that contains the File Share resource that you created in step 2.
- In the details pane, click the File Share resource that you created. On the File menu, click Properties.
- On the Parameters tab in Path, type the path to the folder whose subfolders you want to share.
- To configure file share permissions, click Permissions.

- Click Advanced, and then click Share subdirectories to enable the combo file share option that allows File Share resources to share subfolders. If you want to prevent users from seeing the subdirectory shares when they browse the network, click Hide subdirectories shares, and then click OK.

- On the File menu, click Bring online.
